McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center 2022
Come join us at the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center in Concord for a fun time exploring hands-on exhibits on aviation, astronomy, Earth and space science. Enjoy two floors of permanent and special exhibits on air and space travel, planets, moons and stars, weather on Earth and in space; land a space shuttle or lunar lander.
Our time at the discovery center will also include a 30-45 minute planetarium show called Tonight's Sky. This show will tell you all about the current night sky plus the latest exciting information about space. Is that a star or a planet? What is Orion hunting? What is a gibbous moon? What does the Milky Way look like? Hold on to your seat as you become part of the spectacular current night sky. This Planetarium program helps you get started observing the wonders of the sky from your own backyard.
Feel free to pack a lunch and we can eat as a group in their lunchroom.
Ages 2 & under are free. You need only register adults and children ages 3 & up.
*Masks are currently required for visitors 2 and up.
