2025 Millyard Museum Tour
Please join us for a visit to the Millyard Museum! A perfect fit for NH history this year. Please see their website to learn more about this museum, they have a focus on the textile industry and the history of mills in NH but also have general NH history as well as Manchester specific history exhibits.
We will be in 2 programs, the first will be a scholarly scavenger hunt, the second program will be focused on the life of children during this time period with 5 centers the children will work through. If our group exceeds 30 students, we will split the group into older and younger children and run the programs simultaneously, then switch.
Please note there is a cap of 50 students on this field trip, so sign up ASAP if you know you would like to attend.
Schedule:
10am-11:30am: program #1
11:30am-noon: Lunch
noon-1:30pm: program #2
1:30-4pm: self-guided tour of the museum
*Field trips are non-refundable.
Parking: Free parking is available in the lots adjacent to the building in the front (200 Bedford Street) and rear (Commercial Street) sides of the building. On street metered parking is also available on the streets surrounding the building.
