2018 SEE Science Center

2018 SEE Science Center

Come join us at the SEE Science Center!

Grades K-6th will tour the center gaining a unique educational experience. The group will move around the museum with a guide and together experience some of the amazing scientific discoveries our exhibits demonstrate. Featured exhibits may include any of the following exhibits and topics: the Van De Graaf Static Electricity Generator, the Harmonograph drawing machine, simple machines, sound, properties of light, air pressure, or the Moonwalk (a simulation of our moon's gravity for students weighing 70 pounds or less) etc. The tour concludes with time for the students to explore the museum freely with their chaperones.

Grades 7th-12th will participate in the Chemical Reactions Program. Chemical Reactions features four different hands-on experiments to be done by the students. The experiments and demonstrations will allow students to discover and recognize chemical reactions and how they are a part of our everyday lives. Experiments may include Hot and Cold, where the students create endothermic and exothermic reactions, and See The Light, which has students creating a chemical reaction that, produces light.

Admission of $9 is required for all persons ages 3 and up that will be entering the museum.

Moms and children ages 3-4 years old that will not be participating in the programs may use passes obtained from your local library to enter the center. Be advised, that you will have to check in separately from the group. Do not register on this site if you plan to use a pass.
