SUMMARY:Forest Canopy
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an amazing experience among the trees!
 The forest
  canopy is a rarely explored ecosystem home to a vast array of life. Durin
 g this immersive lesson\, students will become eye-level with the treetops
  on the VINS Forest Canopy Walk. Students will leave this lesson with a b
 etter understanding of the forest from the ground to the canopy\, and how
  each layer and the organisms within those layers play an important role i
 n the health of the entire forest.
 Our field trip will include a 60-80 m
 inute guided program including an introduction to the topic of Forest Cano
 py\, active exploration of the Forest Canopy Walk\, in depth investigation
  and a chance for students to reflect upon what they learned. In addition 
 to the guided lesson you will have the opportunity to experience a live bi
 rd presentation\, visit our trails and exhibits\, and enjoy lunch on our g
 rounds.
 FYI: As of right now\, Masks are required in all indoor spaces
  at the Nature Center\, regardless of your vaccination status.* This may 
 change over the next few weeks. We will keep you posted closer to the date
 . Our visit will be outside the whole time\, so this should not effect us 
 much.
