2025 Freedom Trail Tour

What: Walk into History Guided Tour. We will be accompanied by a costumed actor to discuss the first half of the Boston Freedom Trail. We start at the Boston Common Visitors center and end at Faneuil Hall. This tour lasts 90 minutes.

Cost: $14pp (Unfortunately this also includes children 2 and under) 

Meeting place: Boston Common visitors center 139 Tremon Street, Boston MA 02111

When: October 1, 11am - Plan your travel time plus walking time to the visitor center accordingly

Parking Options:

• Near Boston Common:  Boston Common Parking Garage: 0 Charles Street, $30. 
• Parking at the end of our tour near Faneuil Hall: Government Center Garage: 125 Bowker St $36
• Boston Harbor Garage 270 Atlantic Ave advanced purchase $40

Prices are estimates. You can usually reserve a spot ahead of time, to guarantee a parking spot when you arrive. Please do your own research.

Lunch: this trip is a little later than we normally book in an attempt to avoid morning traffic and to eat some food before our tour. We also have the option of eating while walking. Bring walking snacks!

Bathrooms: There are restrooms available in the Boston Commons Visitor Center as well as in Faneuil Hall.

Optional:  We can reserve a tour of the Paul Revere House for $1 per student and $5.50 per adult if there is interest. This will be capped at 30 people children under 5 are free but need to be included in our numbers. Please select the ticket below to express interest. Payments will be collected later based on interest.

Optional: Download the Junior Ranger activity book to complete both at home and while on the tour. Children can participate in the Junior Ranger pledge and get a badge once we have completed our tour and books. 

ALSO optional: I know there is interest in finishing the entire freedom trail. This will not be an "official" part of our WHE field trip but families wishing to do so can continue on. It is my intent to do so but depending on how long the first half lasts and how tired my people are we may change plans. Indicate your interest by selecting the ticket below.
